Though I believe in value of mystical experiences and power of universe, I am adamnant in my belief that religion does more harm than good in the world. When it comes to faith based violence, religious moderates are part of the problem, not the solution.
Good people do good things, bad people do bad things but religious do bad things for good people.
People must embrace rationalism, not religion - or they will never overcome their differences.
Find your own truth, within yourself.
No book, no teacher, no master can tell it to you - but they will try convince you that you should buy into what they believe.

I do not know if you are a atheist, but now this first. RELIGION IS A WAY OF LIFE. I am so tempted to start an argument on this subject, but [sigh] never mind, everyone is entitled to their view.
P.S- Atheists are not always rationalists as they proclaim. If they fail to observe something in a system, it doesnt mean it doesnt exist. Though one can never explain the contrary through 'rational' means.
Yes, religion is a way of life.I used it in the sense it is mostly and widely used and we all understand it to be.
Define god for me...!
To define God is the single most difficult thing to do- especially when you look at it rationally. God can mean different things to different people, and I only say that failing to observe something doesn't imply absence of it.
However ask this question to yourself - How did the first believer in a God come about it ? That the whole idea of different Gods, their beliefs- how did they take shape ? It did not come up automatically. Either a God existed or the way you put it, Man created God. I would like to stick to the former, I believe God did exist.
People need a supernatural identity as an attribution of faith. The belief that a supernatural being exists helps them stay away from all vices. If people can stay away from vices on their own, then no one is complaining.
Religion on the whole helps people to understand life on their own terms. True, there have been religious clashes, and there has been mistakes made in the name of God. Well, but what hasn't ? You think not having a religion would have solved greater problems ? There are other barriers like linguistic and region based barriers. And about religion, if anyone asked me, it has done more good than bad.Serious. Following a particular religion does not imply that the people who are following it are not open minded. They adhere to a way of life which they feel is right for them.
To follow different ways of life is altogether a individual's choice. As far as he/she is not forced into it, it is fine.
I would also suggest you just take a read at this post. here.
